Legal Awareness Programme: Talk on Estates & Wills

About the event

To SMESA Members and all Ex-Students,

YOU ARE INVITED TO …

Talk on ESTATES AND WILLS

This Talk is part of SMESA (St. Margaret’s Ex-Students’ Association) Legal Awareness Programme.

‘What happens to my estate if I do not make a will?’

‘Must I make a will?’

‘Can I make my own will?’

These are some questions many of us ask at some stage in our lives. To answer these questions and more, we will be holding a Talk on Estate and Wills. The Talk will also include the process for obtaining letter of probate, formalities of a will and what assets cannot be included in a will.

We are pleased that our member, Ms Ruby Lee Yen Kee, Associate Professor (Professional Practice) at NUS together with NUS law students under the Centre for Pro Bono & Clinical Legal Education will be leading this Talk.

The Talk will take place on Saturday, 20 July 2019 from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm at St. Margaret’s Secondary School, Learning Lab.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Talk. Please advise your attendance by 1 July 2019 (Monday) by email to smesa.sg@gmail.com stating:
