This Talk is part of SMESA Legal Awareness Programme.
The subject of protecting your interests with a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) has been much talked about. LPA is different from a will or deputyship. The Talk will also be a platform for questions that we may have on steps we can take to plan ahead to protect our welfare and interests should we lose the capacity to make our own decisions by appointing a person(s) you trust to act as your proxy decision maker.
The Talk will be led by our member Ms Ruby Lee Yen Kee, Associate Professor (Professional Practice) at NUS together with NUS law students under the Centre for Pro Bono & Clinical Legal Education. The Talk will cover:
